About our Outdoor Maintenance Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Gardener/Caretaker to join our team.

The role involves creating and maintaining well-kept, safe and enjoyable gardens and grounds for residents of apartment buildings.

You will work primarily in the inner Melbourne and Bayside area, visiting clients' properties weekly or fortnightly to clean and maintain outdoor common areas. You may also clean and maintain some indoor common spaces.

Much of our work is done in teams of two with occasional solo shifts. We visit multiple properties per day. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4pm, with flexible shifts between 8 - 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using and maintaining power tools and garden machinery to look after the garden & grounds.
  • Performing simple repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Observing and reporting any issues with the building or grounds.
  • Cleaning indoor common areas to a high standard.
  • Working in a team to perform periodical cleaning and maintenance tasks.
