Sheet Metal Specialist Wanted

We are seeking skilled tradespeople to undertake long-term training in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S.

This opportunity includes working on US Virginia Class nuclear-powered submarines and learning cutting-edge nuclear technology. On-the-job training combined with instructor-led classroom instruction will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, and alteration of various sheet metal articles and equipment
  • Work indoors, outdoors, and aboard submarines and surface crafts performing sheet metal installation or repair work in extremely crowded spaces
Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Minimum Cert III Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
  • 1-5 years' experience (desirable)
  • An ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 defence clearance
