This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced registered midwife to join our team on a casual basis. As a registered midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), you will have the ability to provide women-centered maternity care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to pregnant women and new mothers.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Demonstrated competencies in clinical communication, leadership, and critical thinking.
- Effective use of information technology, written and verbal communication skills.
- Application of evidence-based practice to advocate for individualized woman-centered care.
- Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality midwifery care.
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including participation in own professional development.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively.
