Wavelength is seeking a highly skilled Anatomical Pathologist to join our team in the Gold Coast. As a leading private pathology service provider, we offer a competitive salary package of $300,000 to $400,000 (depending on experience) and a range of staff benefits, including an annual CPD allowance.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented Anatomical Pathologist with a strong interest in skin cancers to play a vital role in the diagnosis of skin diseases. Your responsibilities will include selecting appropriate tissue samples, dissecting and examining resected tissue, and providing expert consultation on a wide range of skin pathology cases.
Key Responsibilities- Selecting and preparing tissue samples for examination
- Dissecting and examining resected tissue to diagnose skin diseases
- Providing expert consultation on skin pathology cases, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers
- Writing and compiling detailed clinical reports
- Developing and reviewing laboratory procedures
- Conducting audits and quality control measures
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Specialist in Anatomical Pathology and Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia
- Full working rights in Australia and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Minimum 2-5 years post Fellowship experience and ideally with some experience and a strong interest in Skin Cancers
