Job Title: Youth Drug and Alcohol Clinician

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to work with young people who are experiencing alcohol or other substance misuse issues, providing high-quality care and support.

As a Youth Drug and Alcohol Clinician, you will provide evidence-based interventions and optimal health outcomes consistent with policies, procedures, standards, and relevant legislation.

The role involves assessment, counselling, and case management services for young people and their family members, as well as outreach to the local community and youth-focused health education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to clients and their families.
  • Ensure evidence-based practice and optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Youth Team to provide assessment, counselling, and case management services.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress.

Requirements:

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
