**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled graduate to join our team in a Government career development opportunity.

**About the Role**

This 12-month full-time program will provide you with the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in taxation and superannuation policies and legislation. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to conduct research and analysis, providing advice to industry leaders.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will assist with:

  • Delivering non-tax legal and dispute resolution services through procedural, operational and legal support
  • Analysing, interpreting and applying legislation, policies, practices and precedents in resolving legal matters under senior employee direction or escalating cases as appropriate
  • Managing disputes in various jurisdictions on behalf of the ATO in relation to non-tax legal matters

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have completed your university degree within the last five years or be in your final year of study. At the time of commencing the program, you must have completed all course requirements. You must also be an Australian citizen willing to undergo police, character and health checks as required.
