About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-level assessment, therapeutic, and preventative Occupational Therapy services in a generalist caseload across community/school and acute settings.

The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical practice knowledge, skills, and experience within Paediatric Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice. You will possess strong time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills, including the ability or willingness to use Telehealth software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level assessment, therapeutic, and preventative Occupational Therapy services
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage a mixed caseload
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development processes
  • Initiate, lead, and evaluate projects to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy eligible for AHPRA registration
  • At least 3 years post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated expertise in Paediatric Occupational Therapy with a focus on evidence-based practice
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • A Class C driver's license and willingness to travel for work purposes
