Serco is a leading provider of integrated healthcare services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.

As a Medical Officer with Serco, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working towards the shared purpose of achieving and maintaining the health and wellbeing of Defence members.

You will be responsible for delivering primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.

About the Role
  • You will form part of a team providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 40+ on-base locations.
  • You will assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports their health and wellbeing pre and post deployments.
  • You will provide medical technical advice to senior commanders and other stakeholders.

About Enoggera Health Centre

Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane and provides support to multiple Defence bases in the area.

The centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering a range of services including primary medical care, aviation and underwater medical services, surgical outpatient services, dental services, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services.

About the Requirements

  • You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
  • You must hold current unconditional and unrestricted General registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • You must have a minimum of 2 years' full-time post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years.
