We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Specialist to join our team at Hunter New England Imaging. As a Senior Resident Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, efficient, and safe radiology services to our patients. You will work closely with Clinical Referrers, Radiographers, and Radiologists/Trainee Radiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality radiology services to patients, including clinical reporting and procedural radiology
• Liaise with Clinical Referrers, Radiographers, and Radiologists/Trainee Radiologists to ensure seamless patient care
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
• Stay up-to-date with contemporary evidence-based best practices and adapt clinical practice accordingly
Requirements
• Sufficient clinical experience to undertake key accountabilities for this role
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Evidence of ability to comply with the service objectives of a public health organization
