About the Role:
Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Service as a Senior Physiotherapist. This is a key leadership role that will provide clinical expertise, leadership, and education in the area of rehabilitation to patients, community, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently deliver direct advanced level clinical services to a complex caseload
- Apply independent professional judgement to a complex caseload using high-level evidence-based principles
- Contribute to clinical research activities within rehabilitation in accordance with organisational objectives
- Provide high-level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
- AHPRA Registration
- A post-graduate qualification within a rehabilitation field would be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
