About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Hand and Cleaner. As a key member of our hospitality services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food hygiene and safety practices are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of meals for residents in the dining room and tray service to their rooms
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and equipment throughout the shift
  • Set up and clean the dining room before and after serving food
  • Maintain food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation
  • Work 30+ hours per fortnight

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and working in a kitchen, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Ideally, you will have a Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations, or similar experience. You will also have experience working in a kitchen and serving meals, as well as experience working in the Aged Care industry (desirable).
