We're seeking a Production Technician to join our fast-paced food processing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment on production lines, ensuring strict food quality standards are met.
About the Role- Operating machinery and equipment on production lines
- Achieving output and line speed targets within set timeframes
- Working in fast-paced production environments to ensure quality and reliability
- Maintaining high standards of food safety
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- A proactive attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement and personal growth
- Must be physically fit and able to repetitively lift up to 20kg
- Be willing to work in a cold environment (between 2-4 degrees) and adapt to changing conditions
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Be eager to learn and adapt to daily challenges
- Prior experience in FMCG and the food industry would be advantageous, but not essential
- Familiarity with food safety, quality assurance, and HACCP principles is desirable
- Flexibility to work overtime hours as required
- Police checks may be necessary as part of the recruitment process
