We are seeking an accomplished Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex systems. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring operational excellence.

  • Job Description:
  • This is a mid-senior level full-time position within the Engineering and Information Technology sector, specifically within Metal Ore Mining.
  • As a Systems Engineer, your primary focus will be on the integration of IT/OT systems, including GxP Manufacturing and Labs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives and meet business objectives.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of a rotational schedule.
  • Analyse requirements and translate them into solution designs and specifications.
  • Ensure quality through structured testing, reviewing, change management, and documentation.
  • Create training materials and assist in intra-team training on SQL development.
  • Partner with vendors and integration partners on support and development requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with PL/SQL databases and client-server development.
  • Familiarity with Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL database development.
  • Exposure to creating database pipelines for supporting report development.
  • Prior experience delivering and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ERP & Industrial Automation systems in a process industry is preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies is preferred.
