About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our team at Local Government. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities on water and wastewater infrastructure and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical, switchboard, instrumentation, and telemetry/SCADA systems.
  • Support the Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor in optimizing Council's Water treatment facilities.
  • Contribute to Planned Maintenance and budget preparation.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
  • Complete documentation, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Trade qualifications as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic - essential.
  • Construction industry safety induction card - essential.
  • Valid 'C' class driver's license.
  • Willingness to undergo any pre-employment checks.
