Working in a hospital environment, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe space for patients and staff.
About the RoleThis Hospital Cleaner position provides services to facilities in accordance with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy PD2021_061. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining all areas including services, fittings, fixtures, and furniture.
- Providing waste management for patient and non-patient areas.
Requirements:
- Ability to work within our organization's values.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake cleaning responsibilities in line with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety guidelines and Infection Control Principles.
- Previous experience cleaning in a hospital environment or similar industry.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic computer skills and a strong work ethic that supports patient care.
- Ability to problem solve and manage time effectively.
