
Senior Research Fellow in Health Economics

We are seeking a Health Economics expert to join our team. As a leading research and education centre, we offer a unique opportunity to conduct internationally recognised research, publish in top-tier journals, secure external funding, and build strategic collaborations with industry, government, and academia.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Economics or a related field, a track record of research excellence, and sustained major research funding success as lead investigator from competitive grant sources. They will also exhibit teaching excellence at the University level, including an emerging record of the development and delivery of curricula.
In addition to their research and teaching responsibilities, the Professor will provide leadership in School and University governance, contribute to strategic planning, represent UWA in academic and professional contexts, and support inclusion, diversity, and social impact initiatives.
Key areas for this position include developing and implementing impactful research projects, securing funding from reputable sources, and mentoring students. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in data analysis, and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
