The role of Freight Delivery Driver is an exciting opportunity to work as a self-employed contractor delivering freight on the Sunshine Coast.
As a successful applicant, you will be responsible for operating a 12-pallet manual Fuso truck, navigating through busy roads and traffic conditions. You must be located on the Sunshine Coast, have an Australian Business Number (ABN), and be registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST). The ideal candidate will have a valid MR license and previous experience in heavy vehicle operation.
The working hours are from 5:30 am until finished, usually between 3:00 pm-4:00 pm, with a remuneration of $320 per day plus GST. This contract-based role offers an immediate start and a duration of 12 months.
Key requirements for this position include:
- A valid MR driver's license
- Previous experience in heavy vehicle operation
- Living on the Sunshine Coast
- Australian Business Number (ABN) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration
In addition to the above qualifications, applicants should be available to work 50 hours per week and possess a strong understanding of time management and organization skills.
This delivery driver position provides a unique opportunity to earn a competitive hourly rate of $27.11-$32.00, depending on experience. To succeed in this role, you will need to be flexible, reliable, and able to manage your time effectively.
