Logistics Coordinator Role

The successful candidate will play a vital role in our Sydney, Australia office. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, receiving and storing parts, picking and delivering items to technical staff, conducting cycle counts, and shipping faulty hardware back to vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining stock levels to ensure availability for build and repair activities.
  • Receiving shipments, checking contents, and issuing parts as required.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and transporting items between sites.
  • Manipulating objects and parts manually or using machinery/equipment.
  • Accurately recording stock levels through physical cycle counting.
  • Maintaining workspace cleanliness, organization, and safety according to 5S principles.

A Day in the Life:

This role involves providing logistical support for our data centers, encompassing spare part transactions, consumable replenishment, and stock counting. Some travel may be required to complete tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment with inventory control systems.
  • A valid NSW driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • A positive attitude, leadership skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
