Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Building and Construction Trainer to join our team. As a key player, you will contribute to the growth and success of our training programs.

As a Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, delivering, and assessing vocational education and training programs. This includes developing innovative learning practices and delivery options that enhance the program area's capacity to meet the learning needs of students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and construction, with at least 3 years of technical experience as a Builder. Experience in delivering classroom-based training is preferable, along with trainee and apprentice supervision and training experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and preparing vocational education and training programs
  • Delivering and assessing training programs
  • Researching and adapting innovative learning practices
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality learning resources
  • Promoting and marketing services to prospective clients

Required Qualifications include:

  • A Certificate IV in Building and Construction (or equivalent)
  • A Diploma of Building and Construction
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
