Salary: The compensation package includes a base salary of $170,000 - $200,000, plus superannuation benefits and equity potential.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to take ownership of our mission-critical web application and drive improvements in stability, performance, and scalability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Stability & Performance: Drive improvements in the app's stability, optimising for speed, resilience, performance, and scalability.
  • Functionality Expansion: Enhance application features based on user feedback and new requirements.
  • Scalability: Refactor and optimise for future growth and high-demand performance.
  • Security: Implement new features to meet evolving client needs while upholding stringent security protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency with React and Node.js for full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of WebSockets (Socket.io experience is a plus).
  • Experience with Sequelize or similar ORMs, MySQL, and REST APIs.
  • Object-oriented programming skills and an eye for optimising legacy code.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Collaborative mindset for remote work, paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and resilience to prioritise in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
