Job Role: Site Supervisor

Job Overview:

This role is responsible for managing the daily operations of a branch, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to relevant standards and maximising availability for hire through coordination with workshop staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing regular updates on workshop and servicing statistics to the management team
  • Ensuring completion of daily branch management tasks, including lost hire reporting and off-hire reviews
  • Gathering and collating key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Procuring goods and services from suppliers by raising purchase orders
  • Attending and conducting pre-starts and customer meetings at the branch
  • Creating and managing hire contracts for new equipment hires and off-hires
  • Coordinating with the mechanical team leader to schedule equipment servicing and manage breakdowns

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing service demand
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks and manage workload effectively
  • Proven customer relationship management skills
  • Experience working on a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) basis (desirable but not essential)
  • Hire industry experience (desirable but not essential)
