We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable lifeguards to join our team at the Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre in Lidcombe, NSW.

As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment in and around our pools.

You will have a passion for water safety and be energetic, dynamic, and outgoing. You will need excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons have a great experience.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse range of people, including students with varying ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

We offer a great opportunity for qualified lifeguards who value water safety and want to make a difference in our community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safety of patrons in and around the pool
  • Maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Communicating effectively with a diverse range of people

We are looking for lifeguards who have:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of OHS and public safety applications
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded
