Job Title: Campus Security Officer
About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and skilled security officer to join our team at Queensland University of Technology. As a Campus Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors on campus.
- Responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to the university community
- Operating shuttle buses and performing general security duties as required
- Foot patrolling the campus to deter crime and maintain a safe environment
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Monitoring and responding to internal and external alarms to prevent potential threats
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Current QLD Security License
- Certificate in Security Operations
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current QLD drivers licence
- A reliable vehicle
- 24-7 flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
