Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an After School Hours Care Assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe and engaging learning environment at Peninsula Grammar School.

The role involves assisting in delivering daily quality activities for children that are fun, stimulating, and carry educational value. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting children, preparing and serving healthy food options, and creating an engaging and happy environment for children.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community to ensure the highest level of care and support for all students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or studying towards) or equivalent which can be recognised for children services
  • A Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
  • HLTAID004 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (willing to obtain)

Additionally, we are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication and people skills, and who are available to work Monday to Wednesday.
