Project Manager Opportunity
RPS Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis working on an exciting major Defence project in Alice Springs. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Australian citizenship and holding or be able to successfully obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory.
- 5+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with client-side and commonwealth or defence project experience desirable.
- Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.
- Strong client and stakeholder management, as well as leadership skills.
- Well-developed spoken and reporting/writing skills with strong competence in computer software including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Microsoft Project desirable.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Completed construction site health and safety course.
- AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
