We are seeking an experienced specialist anaesthetist to join our dynamic team.
About the RoleAs a Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth of our department. You will work as a specialist anaesthetist providing anaesthesia and related services to all interventional disciplines except Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery and Transplant Surgery. Our hospital is an accredited training site, and you will be responsible for teaching anaesthetic trainees, junior medical staff, medical students, and nursing staff.
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist anaesthetic services, including pre and post-operative care, within credentialed privileges to patients.
- Work towards best practice care to all patients based on current professional knowledge and organisational resources.
- Promote a customer-focused ethos and pride in our service.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision/teaching for junior medical staff and other clinical staff.
- Educate staff on relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective communication with colleagues and external stakeholders.
