Senior Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Compliance Investigator/Auditor.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations/audits, quantifying tax liabilities, and producing accurate reports on findings.
- Conduct assigned investigations/audits using advanced audit and investigative skills.
- Quantify customers' tax liabilities and explain the reasons behind decisions made during an investigation/audit.
- Produce comprehensive reports on findings and negotiate suitable outcomes with customers.
- Occasionally conduct field work.
This role offers extensive training, including one-on-one mentoring, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation.
- Effective communication skills to provide clear advice to all stakeholders.
- Professional customer service skills to consult with customers and identify needs.
- Sound knowledge of investigative/audit techniques and their practical application.
- A tertiary qualification or demonstrated commitment to tertiary studies in a relevant discipline (highly desirable).
