About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Regis Aged Care. This role involves providing building maintenance services, equipment management, painting, and gardening activities across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain plant, equipment, buildings, and services to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
  • Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and comply with relevant safety and best practice guidelines.
  • Maintain the grounds in a neat and tidy manner, including gardening and landscaping activities.
  • Identify and complete preventative maintenance requirements, documenting schedules and records as necessary.
  • Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and documented in relevant registers.

Requirements

  • General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills, with experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
  • Maintenance of grounds, general painting skills, and knowledge of gardening equipment would be an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and residents.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
