Student Support Teacher

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance in literacy and numeracy.

  • Deliver targeted small-group and individual interventions for emerging mental health and behavioural needs.
  • Plan, deliver and assess an intervention program which extends students' engagement and achievement.
  • Provide targeted small-group and individual interventions to support students requiring additional assistance in literacy and numeracy across Primary and Secondary.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting student wellbeing and resiliency through proactive strategies aligned with best practices. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for students.

Bachelor of Education degree and VIT Registered Teacher are required for this position. The successful candidate will also be willing to work across both Heritage College campuses.
