Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Accounts to join our Head Office team. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading our accounting, finance, and payroll team, providing high-level advice, and ensuring the alignment of finance activities with our overarching strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the accounting, finance, and payroll team, providing strategic direction and guidance.
  • Develop and implement effective financial systems and processes to ensure efficient financial transactions and robust statutory accounting and auditing processes.
  • Oversee the preparation and lodgement of statutory returns and accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to the CEO, Board, and Department Heads on financial matters, including budget planning, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective financial and risk management practices to ensure the company's financial stability and security.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as Head of Accounts or similar in the Aged Care sector.
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with professional qualification such as CFA/CMA/CA/ACCA.
  • Experience in Care System or similar accounting software.
  • Strong excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and develop ongoing working relationships.
