Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

This role is ideal for a senior accountant looking to take their career to the next level. As a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our financial reporting team to prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax reporting requirements (e.g., BAS, FBT, payroll tax), assisting with calculations and lodgements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a financial accounting role, preferably in a senior capacity.
  • CA or CPA qualification is highly regarded.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS or AASB) and experience with financial systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
