Key Responsibilities- Create and guide the 2-year material movement and rehabilitation plan in line with the Life of Operations Plan (Lo OP), Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), and closure plans, providing monthly 90-day execution updates.
- Collaborate with the Closure Studies team on initiatives to improve rehabilitation quality, design, and facilitate site trials.
- Provide site-specific rehabilitation input for Mining Management Plans, Disturbance Reports, Closure Cost Estimates, the Lo OP, and Closure Plan.
- Optimize the final landform model considering the Lo OP material movement plan, closure performance criteria, and post-closure risks for the operation.
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Exposure to mine closure and landform.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an open-cut environment.
- Competency with mine design and scheduling software packages (Vulcan, Deswik, and Spry preferred).
- Ability to engage across multiple teams and stakeholders to gather input and data.
Tertiary qualification in Mining, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent with relevant experience).
