The Opportunity: We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at our location in Toowoomba. This role will involve managing customers across the South Burnett, Wide Bay, and Bundaberg regions.

This position requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with customers at all levels. You'll spend time with customers locally in Toowoomba and out on the road, visiting various customers across the region.

You'll develop sales strategies and drive growth in revenue, margin, and market share across our steel products, including fencing, tubing, and rural infrastructure solutions. You'll identify new opportunities to support farmers, fabricators, and resellers, grow our presence with existing customers by understanding their needs and delivering practical solutions, build and nurture relationships with key rural and agricultural stakeholders, and stay connected with local industries to uncover new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in revenue, margin, and market share
  • Become familiar with customer needs and deliver tailored solutions to meet those needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region

Requirements:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in agriculture, building, or steel industry
  • Strong commercial acumen with an eye for pricing, margin, and profitability
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage time effectively while working out on the road
