Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Drill Operations Manager to oversee drill teams and manage offsite activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent communication skills, and experience operating Atlas Copco L8 Grade Control Rigs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Drill Rig and supervise drill team members
  • Manage offsite personnel and their training
  • Ensure high safety standards in all operations
  • Liaise with clients on drilling projects and sample production
  • Complete necessary safety documentation and procedures
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks
  • Assist with loading and unloading heavy vehicles
  • Participate in setup, dismantling, and moving drill rigs and equipment
  • Mobilize and demobilize the rig to project sites
  • Perform other duties as required by the client
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate III RII31815 in Drilling Operations
  • Have a current HR Licence
  • possess at least 3 years of drilling experience
  • Be a committed professional with a strong focus on safety
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is essential
