About the ApprenticeshipWe have partnered with a leading provider of nationally recognised training to offer a unique opportunity for job seekers to develop their skills and knowledge in roofing.
The program is designed to provide practical training and experience, combined with certification through a registered training organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities- Install new metal roofs on residential and commercial properties
- Maintain existing roofs to ensure their longevity and integrity
- Cut and install roof sheets, lay roof battens and insulation
- Learn to install flashings and skylights etc.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills
- The ability to listen, follow instructions and ask for assistance when needed
- Punctuality and a positive attitude towards work
- The ability to act responsibly and safely in the workplace
- Effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
