The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Urban Development team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assurance and project administration tasks to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget;
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on construction projects, including site inspections and quality control;
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project success;
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications;
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, minutes, and correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or related field;
  • Proven experience in construction project management, including planning, coordination, and supervision;
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks;
  • Ability to travel to project sites, as required.
