Job Title: Educational Professional

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our vibrant community at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa.

The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to teaching and learning in partnership with parents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching mathematics to students from Years 7-12
  • Developing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to improve outcomes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance student learning

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current driver's licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
