Job Role Overview:
This role involves acting as a clinical expert in musculoskeletal imaging, working at the Institute of Rheumatology & Orthopaedics (IRO X-RAY) location.
As an expert, you will be responsible for assisting the General Section manager radiographer in orienting and training radiographers and medical students in rheumatology and orthopaedics.
You will also oversee the coordination of workflow from clinical areas/departments to ensure maximum throughput and efficient utilization within a specific work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical input in musculoskeletal imaging
- Assist in the orientation and training of radiographers and medical students
- Oversee the coordination of workflow from clinical areas/departments
- Ensure optimal throughput and utilization within a given work area
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent qualification
- NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with AHPRA
- Possess extensive knowledge, expertise and experience in the area of specialisation (Orthopaedics)
