We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant in Nursing. As a compassionate caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, empowering their choices and independence while promoting dignity and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful and tailored support to residents, empowering their choices and independence.
  • Monitor residents throughout the day, escalating any changes in their preferences, needs or wellbeing.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care.
  • Offer social and emotional support to residents, creating smiles and listening to life stories.
  • Keep residents mobile, assist during mealtimes, and engage them in lifestyle activities that nourish their mind, body, and spirit connection.
  • Document incidents and care, participating in Work Health and Safety programs to ensure a smooth and secure environment.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A passion for caring for others beyond just doing a job.
  • A caring credential - Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies.
  • Prior experience as a personal carer in aged care is a plus; if new to aged care, we will provide training to help you succeed.
