Key Geospatial Analyst Role

This key role will focus on delivering high-quality GIS services across various projects.

  • The successful candidate will work closely with consulting teams to provide spatial expertise and advice to clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to raise awareness of spatial services and offer advice to address complex client challenges through innovative solutions.
  • Create high-quality cartographic products that meet client-defined requirements, adhering to corporate branding and standards.
  • Manage and maintain spatial data for project needs, including data creation, geocoding, and maintaining authoritative corporate spatial data.
  • Perform a range of spatial analyses and geo-processing tasks, capturing and maintaining methodologies for quality control processes.
  • Engage in solution engineering, including web GIS, publishing digital maps, and configuring spatial tools and products.
  • Contribute to draft proposals, tenders, and submissions for potential projects, and prepare weekly timesheets.
  • Actively participate in the positive culture and collaborative environment of the team.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • Experience using desktop GIS (ArcGIS Pro preferred) and enterprise or web GIS platforms (ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online preferred).
  • Experience using associated technologies for manipulating data, automating tasks, or developing solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
