Early Childhood Educator

Key to delivering high-quality educational outcomes for young children is the ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans. This position requires an individual with a strong passion for teaching, learning, and child development.

As an early childhood educator, you will be responsible for implementing curriculum in accordance with the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Childhood Education Framework. Your role will involve developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while promoting children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Implement the NQS and Early Childhood Education Framework to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with new theories, practices, and technologies in early childhood education.
  • Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification, current first aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates, VIT registration, and prior experience working in an early childhood setting. You will also need excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a positive and bubbly nature.

Requirements:

This part-time position offers 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with successful candidates required to commute to Glen Waverley VIC, Australia.
