About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned consulting leader to drive the growth and success of our Data and Analytics practice. As a Director, you will be accountable for setting the strategic direction of the practice, ensuring delivery excellence, sales, recruiting, account management, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice Building – Drive overall growth of practice area through business development, talent management, delivery work, and thought leadership.
  • Team & Individual Development – Maximize team performance through effective team approach, increasing productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Engagement Management – Manage engagement risk, project economics, accounts receivable, deliverable content, and client buy-in.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Data and Analytics offerings.
  • Provide oversight and governance of all sold and managed Data and Analytics projects.
  • Drive business development with proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements.
  • Build and develop relationships with local market teams, aligning on sales pursuits, resource capacity, and capabilities.
  • Build and develop relationships with technology partners and own joint sales pursuits.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in consulting management, preferably with 14+ years in data and analytics strategy, architecture, and solution delivery.
  • P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm.
  • Broad data and analytics experiences across data strategy, data architecture, data governance, visualizations, AI/ML, legacy data platforms, and modern cloud data stack.
  • Deep expertise in defining, architecting, and delivering modern cloud data stack based data and analytical solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud, as well as Snowflake or Databricks based cloud data platforms.
  • Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base, organic business development responsibilities, and growing new accounts/clients from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement management experience in Agile/Scrum environments, directing and growing other staff members, and managing senior-level client executives.
