Key Responsibilities- Reporting to the Regulatory & Change Project team - Senior Manager.
- Assist Senior Manager translate business strategy into executable program of delivery including maintenance of detailed project plans covering all deliverables (process, people, IT, control) to drive change and achieve objectives.
- Lead delivery of project, resource scheduling and optimisation of usage.
- Delivering regulatory reporting solutions to satisfy a number of regulatory initiatives.
- Developing detailed project documents including, but not limited to, project plans with deliverables and dependencies, project mandates, communication plan and status reporting.
- Ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the Regulatory Change programme scope, the benefits that it expects to deliver, the benefits it realises and the programme timelines.
- Executing and/or managing the progress of the Regulatory Change programme against quality standards, targets and budgets, and challenging actions, results and activities where necessary.
- Resolving or (where appropriate) escalating issues and risks and ensuring that appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Effectively communicating with key stakeholders on project progress.
- Ensure quality assurance within the program by overseeing that PEFm and Risk frameworks, standards and auditor procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Manage and support information reporting to senior stakeholders, including transparency in status communication and advising on ad-hoc senior stakeholder requests.
- Facilitate workshops and chair working groups with senior stakeholders.
You will be highly driven with a strong Project Management background and possess experience in regulatory/legislative projects, with proficiency in project management practice. Able to think strategically, you will have strong people skills and an ability to critically assess business problems.
Experience in the Financial Industry will assist you in building the right solutions for our projects. You will have a comprehensive appreciation of Agile and Waterfall lifecycles and change management disciplines which will support your approach and success.
You will need to be a good communicator, who can influence and build relationships with key stakeholders across operational and non-operational channels, external providers and our product development teams. Combining this, with your strong customer focus, consultative approach and ability to continuously seek improvement will ensure your success in this role.
Requirements- Demonstrated experience in managing and achieving results from low complexity projects with the following characteristics:
- Indicative cost up to $1M Project duration up to 14 months Teams typically ranging up to 3-4 resources Project Risk: Medium – High
- 3+ years' experience within regulatory projects and/or delivery of business/IT project delivery.
- 3+ years' experience in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business practices.
- A strong strategic and operational understanding of technology and business systems.
