We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of high-impact AI solutions. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities for informal leadership, including guiding small offshore teams and influencing best practices across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will work across the full delivery lifecycle, from prototypes and pilots to scalable, production-grade solutions embedded in core systems. They will also help shape our AI ecosystem, contributing to platform development, tooling, and best-practice frameworks.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and thrives in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. The successful candidate will be a recognised thought leader, actively supporting and mentoring the wider data science community.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Data Science, ML, Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, Maths)
  • Postgraduate degree (Masters or PhD) in a relevant data science/statistical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • 7+ years experience in Data Science, AI, or closely related fields
  • Proven experience developing and productionising ML pipelines
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with ML pipeline optimisation
  • Deep understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and neural networks
  • Databricks experience desirable
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and experience building prototypes or POCs
