Position Summary:

Heat and Control Inc. is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join its passionate team of innovators. As a Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to build genuine customer business relationships and develop new markets for our capital equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with new customers and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. You will join a successful team of sales professionals who value respect and passion for innovation and continued growth.
  • This role will suit someone who is driven by success and looking to create and nurture medium to long-term business relationships with the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and non-food processing sectors in NSW, as well as developing strong relationships within the company and industry at a global level.
  • A credible communicator with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, you will have the ability to adapt to the role's unique requirements as needed. Your collaborative work style and prior experience in sales in a technical environment will position you well to immediately add value in this busy and important position.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the sales and marketing of technical/engineering equipment, preferably in the food processing and/or packaging industry.
  • Demonstrated pipeline management, sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and account management experience essential.
  • Mechanical qualification/aptitude is essential for the success of the role. However, proven years of experience without qualifications will be considered.
  • Track record of consistently reaching sales targets.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy and experience with CRM reporting.
  • Initiative to act beyond specific job responsibilities to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to optimize the time spent in achieving objectives.

Work Environment:

  • Working within the Sales Team at our Sydney office, located at Northmead, Sydney.
  • Free onsite parking.
