About the Role

Murdoch University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our School of Veterinary Medicine as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Diagnostic Imaging. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of our university and make a significant impact in the field of veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate courses in veterinary diagnostic imaging
  • Conduct research in diagnostic imaging and contribute to the development of new knowledge and skills in the field
  • Supervise and mentor students, including honours and postgraduate students
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Requirements
  • Veterinary degree registrable by the Veterinary Practise Board of Western Australia
  • Board certification in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI/ACVR/FANZCVS)
  • Extensive experience in teaching veterinary diagnostic imaging at the undergraduate and postgraduate level
  • Demonstrated recent experience in applied clinical and didactic teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
