Strategic Healthcare Leadership Opportunity

The position of Head of Healthcare Research is a key role in our Equity Research team. Located in Sydney, this opportunity involves driving thought leadership and delivering investment advice to investors.

About the Position

As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will lead analysis of individual companies and the broader healthcare sector, producing insightful reports and actionable recommendations. Your responsibilities will include generating ideas, engaging with listed and unlisted companies, and marketing your research to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of experience in sell-side research, M&A, Corporate Development, or Consulting within the healthcare sector
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, and CA or CFA qualification. Alternatively, a background in medicine with a strong interest in finance and a professional network in the industry
  • Strong analysis and modelling skills with a deep understanding of market drivers
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an interest in client/stakeholder engagement
