Job Title: Innovative Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Innovative Design Specialist to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge stormwater solutions.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced design professional to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Development: Provide high-quality stormwater models and designs that facilitate specification, costing, planning, and delivery of stormwater management systems in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaboration: Liaise closely with internal presales engineers, engineering, and production personnel as part of a multidisciplinary national team.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD and MUSIC (training offered) modelling software for design tasks.
  • Compliance: Ensure all specifications and designs comply with Local/State/federal codes and accepted engineering practices.
  • Communication: Maintain active communication with contractors, engineers, surveyors, and government agencies regarding engineering, surveying, or construction issues.
  • Representation: Represent the company professionally at events, conferences, and client sites.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Experience: 0–4 years of experience, with at least 2–3 years of engineering design skill experience in AutoCAD and, if possible, stormwater modelling software MUSIC (training offered).
  • Skills: Previous design experience, preferably in stormwater/wastewater projects.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive work attitude, drive to succeed, excellent communication skills, and a team player approach.
