Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead our fundraising efforts and develop strong relationships with the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Fundraising and Community Relations department, ensuring that innovative and effective strategies are in place to achieve organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and management of the FCR department.
  • Strategic direction, operational planning and budgeting for the FCR department.
  • Policy development, technical advice and compliance: strengthen systems and frameworks to ensure all fundraising activities are best practice as defined by industry standards.
  • Effective management and oversight of Marketing and Communications functions.
  • Effective management and oversight of Fundraising and Community Engagement functions.
  • Effective management and oversight of Supporter Relations functions.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have significant previous experience in a similar role, relevant tertiary education, and strong leadership and management skills in a complex organisation.

Demonstrated high-level ability to analyse and conceptualise problems and formulate solutions, as well as experience in developing and implementing community fundraising initiatives, is essential.
