About the Role

This is a key role within our project management team, where you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the safety function to provide operational support to the project management team.

You will work closely with the project management team to implement safety programs for project employees, assist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processes, and conduct incident and accident investigations.

As a Safety Advisor, you will also establish positive working relationships with project personnel and raise awareness of safety risks, assist in the development of communications tools and records for all project safety meetings, and prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of project safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor compliance with the safety systems and procedures within the workplace.
  • Implement safety programs for project employees.
  • Assist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processes.
  • Conduct incident and accident investigations.
